How you move, feel and respond to your internal and external environment can affect how you live in your mind and body. Often we are not paying attention to this information, we are not always consciously aware. Physical symptoms of pain, mental fatigue and emotional changes, possibly caused through postural imbalances and patterns of behaviour, perhaps through lifestyle habits or injury, are tangible messages or signs that the mind and body are out of balance and need attention.
We often breathe with restriction and subconsciously hold our body too tight. Over time these habits can cause limitation in our body, reduce movement and flexibility in our muscles and joints and present physically as pain, soreness and aching. Our body wastes energy being under stress and tension, we begin to fatigue and feel tired. Our emotional energy can be affected and perhaps patterns of sleep and eating can start to change too.
All treatments are unique to your specific needs, you will spend time initially discussing how your body feels, how your lifestyle perhaps contributes and how you can make changes where possible. With time you can experience increased movement and flexibility in your muscles and joints and more energy enabling you to rest, restore and re-balance your mind and body.
The appointment includes a consultation and treatment and lasts an hour.
