Hypnotherapist talks to you – there will be no swinging watches,
you won't lose control or become unconscious and you cannot
be made to do anything against your will.”
At the beginning of the session Hannah will invite you to talk about the changes you want to make, and may ask quite a lot of questions about you and your life circumstances. This is a lot like a traditional counseling session, and everything you say will be kept confidential.
Hannah will then ask you to make yourself comfortable in a chair and close your eyes when you feel ready. You can then simply listen quietly while she talks to you – there will be no swinging watches!
Most people are aware of everything the hypnotherapist says during a session. You won't lose control or become unconscious, and you cannot be made to do anything against your will.
Sometimes, you may be asked to respond verbally to the therapist while you are in hypnosis, or to communicate by moving your hand. Usually though, there is no need for you to do anything at all!
Sessions are an hour long, and may take place every two weeks or to suit you.
