What is Past Life Therapy?Past Life Therapy is the treatment of present day health problems which may have their roots in the events of previous lifetimes. In order to access the root causes of these symptoms, the client is gently guided into a very relaxed state through the use of hypnotic techniques, and regressed to the time and place where the original trauma or event took place. Then, when the root causes are located, with associated memories and emotions brought to light, the client can begin the healing process. To assist with this the client will also receive more traditional forms of hypnotherapy along with visualisations, affirmations, Bach and Bush flower remedies when appropriate. What is Past Life Therapy used for?Past Life Therapy may be appropriate for almost any health problem. It has been known to cure serious physical symptoms as well as emotional difficulties, anxieties, phobias, ‘healing blocks’, and many other conditions which may not have responded to any other form of treatment, or whose root cause may be a complete mystery. What can I expect to experience in A PLT session? You will undergo a very pleasant deep relaxation process and be guided into a receptive state where memories can be accessed and therapy can occur. It is a gentle form of hypnosis where you will be aware of your surroundings but be sufficiently relaxed to enter an ‘altered state’ similar to daydreaming. Once in this receptive condition you can expect to experience memories from a previous lifetime including the memories which lie at the root of your current problem. Success at retrieving these memories is usually successful but cannot be guaranteed. Once the memories are retrieved it may then be possible to affect a cure with one session but several may be needed to hopefully remove the symptoms. Is it safe and will it be painful in any way? There is absolutely no danger in the process. You will be aware of your environment at all times and should enjoy the feeling of being in a deep state of relaxation. Should traumatic memories be uncovered you will not be expected to re-experience them. You will be removed from the scene and be directed to observe the events rather than re-experience them. The healing effect will be the same.
